Thelma Walden Obituary

Thelma Fay "Crickett" Walden, age 96, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Crickett was born in Anderson County, Tennessee on September 26, 1923 to the late William Elbert White and Froella Beach White. She was the eldest member of Island Ford Baptist Church. Crickett loved going to the nursing home parties, loved cooking, and baking. In addition to her parents, Crickett is preceded in death by her husband: Carl Walden, brothers: Millard, JC, and Floyd White.

Daughter Deborah Stokes of Lake City

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Norton officiating.

Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City at 10:15 AM, Friday, June 12, 2020 to go in procession to Island Ford Cemetery in Lake City for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
