Ronald "Ronnie" Gene Spitzer

Ronald "Ronnie" Spitzer, age 65, passed on January 13, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandy Spitzer, and children, Ronald Jr., and Ashley Spitzer. He was born September 6, 1955 in Campbell County, Tennessee. Ronnie faithfully served as a  fireman for over 47 years, with the last 5 years serving as the fire chief of Lake City Fire Department. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Leinart and Lonas Spitzer, brother Don Spitzer, mother in law and father in law Gladys and James E. Taylor, and sister in law Jearldine "Candy" Taylor.

Many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn his passing.

The loss is deeply felt by the community as he was respected and loved by all.
