Ludy Ethelena Daugherty

Ludy Ethelena Daugherty, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2023 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Ludy was born July 22, 1941 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Sam Strong and Alma Edith Duff Strong. Ludy was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church and loved Jesus. She also enjoyed yard sales, thrifting at Bryson's closet in Oak Ridge, and traveling to Dollywood. Ludy was a social butterfly. In addition to her parents, Ludy is preceded in death by her husband: Walter Daugherty, son: Timmy Daugherty, brothers: George, Tommy, and Joe Strong, and sisters: Helen Strong, and Judy Buell.

Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday March 26, 2023 at Island Ford Baptist Church.

Graveside Service: 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Wilson officiating.
