Obituary

Debra Kay Vowell, age 65 of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Debra was born February 17, 1958 in Anderson County, Tennessee to Paul Hollon and Gladys Bernice Douglas Hollon. Debra enjoyed crafts and fishing and was an avid UT Vols fan. She was of the Church of God faith. Debra is preceded in death by her father, Paul Hollon and her brother Terry Hollon. 

 

Survivors:

Husband Steve Vowell of Lake City

Mother     Bernice Hollon of Lake City

Uncle       Donald Douglas of LaFollette

And a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 9, 2023 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Mowery officiating.

A graveside service will take place following the funeral service on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City.
