Vicky Ray Lawson

Vicky R. "Vic" Lawson, age 73, of Lake City, Tennessee, formerly of the Blair community in Harriman, passed away on July 15, 2025. Vic was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. He worked for BWXT - Y12 for 40 plus years as a janitor. He also worked for Mike and Bob Jones Construction of Oliver Springs, as well as doing his own construction and loader work. Vic has collected coins for most of his life. He also collected knives with his son, Jared. Vic was known to have a nice gun collection, which consisted of guns from a lot of family members. Vic is preceded in death by his wife: Anna Lou Miller Lawson, son: Jared Seth Lawson, his parents: James C. and Mazell Lawson, brothers: James L. Lawson, Paul W. Lawson, Hiskell C. Lawson, father in law: Eugene Miller, mother in law and father in law: Lucille and Claude Smith, and a very special sister in law: Ella Jean "Sissy" Miller.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2025 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garvin Walls officiating.

Interment to follow funeral service at the Ollis Cemetery in Oliver Springs.
