Ray Thompson

Ray Thompson born July 4, 1943 passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on Monday, September 29, 2025. He was the son to the late Charlie and Tressie Thompson. Ray is preceded in death by his wife Carol Thompson and sisters Lucille Smiddy, Charlene Bunch and Carolyn Massengill. Ray has one living sister Stella Stephens and husband Sam Stephens, Special niece Tammy Smith and Don McGhee. Dear friends Tommy Madison whom ray loved dearly and good friend Percie Shultz and lots of other friends and family. Ray ran the Big Orange tavern in Caryville for many years and was loved by everyone who knew him. 

He will be deeply missed, A special heart felt Thanks you to the staff of Rocky Top Care Center  for their loving care.
