Martin "Shorty" Thomas Ward

Martin "Shorty" Thomas Ward , 85, of Caryville, TN, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021.  Martin was a selfless man. Who worried about anyone and everyone.  His favorite things to do were ride up in the mountains, listen to his late brother in law Pitney Seiber's music, watch old western shows and be with his family.

He reunites in Heaven with his late daughter Deanna Ward.  He is survived by his wife of 60yrs Lorene Ward.  He is a proud father of Jackey Ward, Diane White, Buster and Teresa Ward, Roger and Angie Ward, Donna and Stephen Rutherford.

A visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

The funeral service will start at 7 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Seiber officiating.

Family and Friends will meet at 2 PM, on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Seiber Cemetery in the Shea Community for Shorty's interment.

Hatmaker Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
