Jonathan Dale Phillips, of Rocky Top, Tennessee, passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 54. He was born on October 18, 1971.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Dale Phillips and Teresa Ann Pedofield.
He is survived by his children, Destiny and Ethan; his loving siblings, Rochelle Phillips and Justin Phillips. He shared a special bond with his sister, Rochelle Phillips, and his niece, Audrey Jordan, who loved him dearly.
Jonathan was a hardworking roofer who took pride in providing for himself through honest work. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time fishing and playing the guitar. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for making people laugh, even during difficult times. Jonathan loved his family deeply and was a strong-willed man who faced life with determination.
Above all, Jonathan had a deep and unwavering faith in God. He found comfort in reading his Bible and spending time in prayer. His faith was an important part of his life and gave him strength through every season.
Jonathan will be remembered for his kind heart, his laughter, his hardworking spirit, and the love he shared with those closest to him. Though he will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in the memories they shared and in the hope of seeing him again one day.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2026 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2026 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Phillips officiating.
A Graveside Service will be held following the funeral service at the Phillips Cemetery located at Rochelle Phillips's home.
