John R. Saucier was promoted to Heaven on May 10th, 2026.

Born to George A. and Carmen (Tardif) Saucier in Lewiston, Maine on August 23, 1950. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Elaine (Bussiere), sister Jane Saucier, children James Saucier (wife Kathy) of Lewiston, ME, Robert A. Saucier of Knoxville, TN, Jennifer Hartman (husband Monty) of Madison, TN, grandchildren Viktor & Devlin Hartman, and step grandchildren Al, Matt, Trent, great step grandchild Athena, nieces and many other close loved ones. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Sue Ann Hebert of Auburn, ME.

John was born and raised in Lewiston. He worked in banking and real estate for most of his career. He worked at Benton Plastics when the company relocated to Knoxville TN in 1995. He managed Master Battery in Knoxville from 2005 until his retirement in 2020.

John and Elaine were members of Holy Cross Church in Lewiston, ME, and served on various committees and boards as well as becoming CYO advisors and Search retreat weekend team members while living in Maine. They became members of St. Therese Parish in Clinton TN until 2007, when they joined the St. Albert the Great Parish in Halls TN. They continued their service to the parish in many different areas and especially their roles as team members of OCIA.

John was a 4th degree member of Assembly #1083 and an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus. He has held the titles of District Deputy and Grand Knight. He particularly enjoyed cooking meals to feed the homeless with brother knights and especially Michael Wrinkle.
