John H. Griffith passed away on November 15, 2025, at the Tennova Lafollette Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on March 27, 1937, to the late Howard Griffith.  He was a proud member of the U.S. Navy. John was of the Christian faith and attended 1st Baptist Church of Jacksboro. He enjoyed gardening, farming, canning, going to farmer markets and selling his honey, collecting old cars, antiques, loved traveling, the Olympics, Nascar, and you can't forget his love for diet Dr. Pepper, red beets and boiled eggs, watermelon, strawberries, watching WWE, and he loved to record everything and things he possibly could, he was a beekeeper. John loved his fur babies Ms. Elizabeth his cat and His dog Pepper and as well as his love for all animals. He is survived by:

                       Betho

Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation: 12:00Noon - 2:00PM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: to follow funeral service at Leach Cemetery in Lake City, Tennessee.
