John Warren Chase Jr.

John Warren Chase Jr., age 77 of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on May 8, 2025 at the North Knoxville Medical Center of Powell. John was born May 8, 1948 in Lake City, Tennessee to the late John Chase Sr. and Bobbie Sams Chase. John was a detective for the LaFollette Police Department for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved fishing, researching facts and fiction of local and US History, mafia lore, and the political world. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife: Thelma Chase, sisters: Shirley Orvetz and Sharon Manley, and brother: Jerry Chase.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Saturday, May 17, 2025 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Dison officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Leach Cemetery in Lake City, Tennessee with Military Honors provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
