Estel Jeffers Obituary

Estel Dean Jeffers passed away in Dayton, TN, on 6/12/18 at the age of 60.

Estel is predeceased by his mother, Hannah Phillips Reighn, and his brothers Robert, Jerry and Leon Jeffers.

Estel is survived and lovingly remembered by his children Michelle Walker, Christopher Palmer, Harrison Jeffers, Jerrod Jeffers, Angel Walden, his grandchildren Marissa Jeffers, Michael Walker Jr., Dana Walker, Riley Palmer, Victoria Palmer, Christopher Henson, Maddalynn Henson and Matthew Henson, his sister Frances Rutledge, brother David Jeffers, and fiancé Macillo Christian.

Estel was born in Clinton, TN in September of 1957. Within his many virtues, above all, the true goodness of his heart will be most fondly remembered – a father figure and mentor to many and a friend to all.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, in nature, laughing, learning, connecting with individuals, contemplating the mysteries of life, providing gentle wisdom, love, and understanding to all. His legacy survives as hope for the world as we know it.

Condolences can be offered at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, TN. Estel's soul will be laid to rest and a celebration of his life will be held at Mynatt Road Missionary Baptist Church, in Knoxville, TN, with Eddie Beeler and Daniel Metcalf providing blessings on 6/23/18, between the hours of 4PM to 6PM - all are welcome to attend.
