Jewel Daugherty

Jewel Daugherty, age 91, of Clinton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2017. Jewel was born in Rosehill, Virginia on October 13, 1925 to the late John and Susie Short Singleton.  Jewel was a member of Blessed Way Baptist Church of God in Clinton. She loved going to church, cooking, sewing, quilting, and gardening. In addition to her parents,  Jewel is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Daugherty, infant daughter Cloteene Pruitt, daughter Patricia Ann Woods, great granddaughter, Saharra Bayleigh Daugherty, and brothers Abraham Singleton, Henry Morgan, and Robert Singleton.

Visitation:  6:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 8:00pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.  Homer Trett officiating.

 Friends and Family will meet at 10:15 am on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Laurel Grove Cemetery in Briceville, TN for an 11:00 am interment.
